Tender and panel contracts with Perth councils, state government departments and major institutions, backed by seven operational crews.
Dickies Tree Service has held tender and panel contracts with Perth councils, state government departments and major institutions for more than 40 years. With 28 field staff across seven operational crews, we have the capacity to deliver scheduled maintenance programmes alongside large one-off projects.
We are set up for the administrative side of public sector work, with full occupational safety and health documentation, traffic management capability and $20 million in public liability insurance.
Our crews work across the full range of public sector and institutional tree contracts.
We hold contracts with the Department of Parks and Wildlife and the Water Corporation, and work with the City of Stirling, City of Vincent and Town of Cambridge on street trees, parks and storm response.
Our institutional clients include the University of Western Australia, Murdoch University, Curtin University, Hale School and Lake Karrinyup Golf Course. School grounds require careful scheduling around term times and student safety.
For organisations with ongoing needs, a scheduled contract is more predictable than ad hoc work. We develop a pruning programme based on species, growth rates and site requirements, then execute it systematically.
Contract clients receive priority scheduling for storm response, and multi-site portfolios are coordinated on a single schedule with consolidated reporting.
Do you respond to council and government tenders?
Yes. We regularly respond to tenders for tree services across the Perth metropolitan area and have held council and state government contracts for decades.
What insurance and documentation do you carry?
We carry $20 million in public liability insurance and full workers compensation cover, and provide Safe Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analyses and project-specific risk assessments.
Can you work under a panel contract?
Yes. We are experienced in panel arrangements with Perth local councils, providing agreed services at agreed rates against documented KPIs.
What is your capacity for large projects?
We run seven operational crews with 28 field staff, elevated work platforms up to 22 metres, spider lifts, a crane truck and seven woodchippers, so multiple crews can be mobilised on one site.
Do you provide traffic management?
Yes. We have traffic management capability in house for work on roads, footpaths and public spaces, which avoids coordinating a separate subcontractor.
Working for businesses, shires and government, north, south and east of the river allows us to efficiently cover the whole metropolitan area, from Yanchep to Rockingham, and everywhere in between. We are your local arborists in Perth.
