Please make sure our free mulch service is suitable for your property:
- We only deliver full truckloads of approximately 12 to 14 cubic metres
- We cannot supply small or measured quantities
- Delivery timing depends on our work schedule and cannot be guaranteed
- The mulch is generally a mixed load of chipped trees and shrubs
- The colour, texture and composition will vary between loads
- A load may occasionally contain a small amount of palm or Japanese pepper
- We generally cannot supply a particular species or exclude specific species
- The nominated delivery location must have safe truck access

A full truckload is a substantial amount of mulch. If it is more than you need, you may wish to share the load with neighbours or place a “free mulch” sign at the front of your property after delivery.
What is arborist mulch?
Arborist mulch is a natural mixture of chipped branches, timber, bark and leaves produced during professional tree work.
Because it comes directly from different tree pruning and removal jobs, it is not as uniform as bagged or commercially processed mulch. Each load will vary depending on the trees and shrubs chipped that day.
Arborist mulch can be used for garden beds, larger residential gardens and landscaping projects.

Common questions
Is the mulch and delivery free?
Yes. There is no charge for the mulch or delivery when a suitable load becomes available near your property.
How much mulch will I receive?
A standard truckload is approximately 12 to 14 cubic metres. We only deliver complete loads and cannot provide smaller quantities.
Can I request a smaller amount?
Unfortunately, no. We cannot split loads or deliver specific quantities through the free mulch service. If a full truckload is more than you require, consider sharing it with neighbours.
Can I choose the type of mulch?
No. The mulch is generally a mixture of trees and shrubs and will vary according to the work completed that day. We generally cannot guarantee a particular tree or shrub species or exclude specific species from a load. Occasionally, there may be a small amount of palm or Japanese pepper in the mix.
Can I book a delivery date?
Free mulch delivery is not a scheduled or on-demand service. Delivery depends on when our trucks are full and working near your area. You could be contacted within the week or sometime in the near future, but joining the waitlist does not guarantee delivery.
Where will the mulch be placed?
The mulch will be tipped in an agreed location on the property. There must be enough room for the truck to enter or safely position itself and unload the full load. Please tell us about any access restrictions when completing the form.
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily. Before you are added to the waitlist, we will speak with you and agree on a suitable drop location. When a load becomes available, we will contact you to reconfirm the delivery. Provided the agreed location remains accessible, you do not need to be home when the mulch arrives.
How long will I remain on the waitlist?
Your details will generally remain on the waitlist until you receive a delivery or ask to be removed. We may remove your details if we make repeated attempts to contact you over an extended period and do not receive a response.
Does registering guarantee delivery?
No. Delivery depends on where our crews are working and when a suitable load becomes available. Your property must also be reviewed and approved for safe access before it is added to the delivery waitlist.
