Dickies Tree Service is a family-owned and operated business, which has been servicing Perth’s arborist needs for more than 40 years. During this period, we have seen our business grow from a single operator to the large company we have today.
We feel the success of our business is largely due to our continued commitment to our customers in the completion of all works to the highest standards, whether large or small.
Since its inception, Gary and Judy Dickie have grown the business to the point where it now has over 40 employees. We have qualified arborists, as well as full-time experienced supervisors carrying out all our quoting. All other employees are not just fully qualified for their respective tasks, but friendly and reliable.

Plenty of people in Perth search for tree lopping, so it is worth explaining what it is and why we approach things differently. Lopping cuts a tree back to stubs without regard for where the cuts fall. It reduces the size of the tree quickly, but the regrowth that follows is weaker than the original branches, and the tree will usually need attention again sooner. In many cases, professional pruning gives a better result while protecting the health and structure of the tree.
With our arborists and experienced crews, we can assess your tree and recommend the right approach, using thinning, weight reduction, deadwood removal, underpruning, or balancing and shaping. Where a tree is dead or unsafe, we will tell you that removal is the better option.
Sometimes lopping is genuinely necessary and we will say so. We have 13 staff holding Certificate III in Arboriculture, along with a QTRA and VALID registered assessor, and we will give you our professional advice so you get the best result for your tree.

Jack and his team did a fantastic job at our place in Karrinyup, on the 9th. October. Jack kept us informed during the whole process, of what was about to be done next. He was such a decent, pleasant bloke to work with. We are very happy with the work they did for us. The whole team was very efficient! Many thanks, Brian & Lorraine Keenan.
