How do I make payment?
Our invoices are forwarded after the work is completed. Payment can be made via the options shown on the invoice, including by cheque.
Are your quotes free of charge?
We provide free, no obligation quotes as we like to inspect each job personally. Quotes are done by our experienced supervisors.
Do I need to be there when the work is done?
Customers are welcome to be present whilst we are working. If the customer cannot be on-site, we will check if there are access issues like locked gates, pets needing to be secured etc.
What suburbs do you service?
We have several Councils, Government organisations and Commercial sites we service and thus are working all around the metropolitan area.
Can you do insurance work?
Emergency response for insurance work and any other insurance work has been one of our specialties for many years.
Are you able to help with emergency work?
We provide 24-hour service for after hours emergency call-outs – subject to costs.
Do you remove the grindings created by stump grinding?
For the majority of stump grindings, the customer spreads the grindings over their garden beds. We can arrange removal of the grindings for an additional cost.
Are you insured?
Yes, we have $20 million public liability, worker’s compensation and comprehensive vehicle and plant cover.
How long are your quotes valid for?
Our quotes are valid for 40 days.
Is it cheaper to leave the cuttings?
Our woodchippers can take any length of branch up to approximately 40 cm (18”) diameter. Councils generally require the length of cuttings to be less than 1.5 meters or thick branches cut into 30 cm (12”) lengths. Costs to either leave the cuttings or remove are usually similar, though this can vary from job to job. We recycle the woodchips.
Do you remove the debris from site?
Yes, we remove cuttings from the site as standard work, which is part of the quoted price.
Are the stumps completely removed?
No, we grind the stumps as opposed to digging them out. Digging can be arranged if needed but usually requires an excavator.
Do you deliver mulch?
We can deliver chipped woodchip mulch. The mulch will be comprised of various tree prunings and is of a coarse texture. Mulch can be delivered to cover areas 50 m2 – 100 m2. This can be done via a free list, a $50 delivery fee list or a full paying list.
